This paper discusses the value of sporting archives to the University of Adelaide and highlights the rich sporting tradition represented by the records held in the Archives. It considers aspects of the planning and staging of an exhibition that incorporates material from non-archival sources and examines the important role of collaborative projects as a means to build relationships within an organization. It also examines the benefits that working together can bring, including audits of collections that may otherwise be unrecorded.
