The Branch meets four or five times a year. Meetings include speakers,
visits to institutions, panel discussions and social gatherings. For
the past few years the Branch has run an annual workshop on basic
archives theory and practice or on conservation, for amateur keepers of
records. Members of the Branch include people employed or working
voluntarily in government, local government, university, church and
school archives as well as members of local history societies and
librarians with a special interest in archives.
