The Religious Collections Special Interest Group was established in
August 1998. The aim of the SIG is to provide a forum for archivists
with an interest in Religious Collections to exchange ideas and
experiences. The SIG holds its annual meeting during the annual ASA
Conference and a newsletter is circulated twice a year. In the longer
term, the establishment of State and local groups will be encouraged so
as to provide further contact between archivists with an interest in
the field.
