The Branch meets every month except January and the month of the ASA annual conference. There is an annual Christmas party in December. Meetings consist of a short business meeting followed by a speaker or panel discussion. Members sometimes meet afterwards for dinner. The venue is usually the Sydney Records Centre (State Records NSW) in The Rocks and the date is usually the third Wednesday of the month. A newsletter is published regularly. The Branch occasionally runs seminars, workshops and other educational and training events.
