The Indigenous Issues Special Interest Group (IISIG) invites you to walk the pathway to your future and our past.
In 1996 the Society introduced this award for publications in the field of archives and recordkeeping. This award honours Phyllis Mander Jones who, amongst other contributions to the profession, authored Manuscripts in the British Isles relating to Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific, in 1972.
The Society depends on and salutes the contributions and work of members, and others, on behalf of the archival profession through a range of awards.
In 2000 the Society introduced this annual award in honour of Robert Charles (Bob) Sharman, colleague, foundation member and long serving supporter of the Society, in recognition of his significant contribution to the Australian Society of Archivists and the archival cause generally in Australia.
