The survey, appraisal, selection, custody and preservation of the official records of the University, including the records of Council and other committees of the University, and records of the academic and administrative divisions of the University for the purposes of present and future scholarly research. The University includes the former Toorak Teachers College, Burwood Teachers College, Rusden Teachers College, Prahran TAFE and Victoria College.
