ACT Branch meetings are held approximately every month except January
with a Christmas party in December. The meetings generally alternate
between evening and lunchtime. Activities include visits to various
institutions, talks on theoretical and practical issues affecting
archives and archivists, and related matters. Venues vary between the
main archival institutions of Canberra and a newsletter
is sent out monthly prior to each meeting. Generally the Branch
organizes a significant activity each year such as holding a seminar or
conducting workshops.
