Archivist
You will act as the custodian of Council’s permanent records and manage these according to archival principles and the State Records Act. You will also work with the Historian in assisting researchers and providing access to Council’s History and Archival Reference Centre.
You will have experience in sentencing, management, preservation, conservation and accessioning of archival material and possess qualifications in Archive Administration or a relevant field. Your well developed communication and interpersonal skills, commitment to quality customer service, strong administrative and computer skills and your ability to maintain confidentiality are essential.
